The Wonders of Winter

Warren Brown Prindle

Sharon, CT

"My father started out in life as a poultry farmer before switching to insurance. My mother, a Norwegian immigrant, moved to Sharon by way of Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. These proletarian roots imbue my art with a sense of the past. I have long been interested in the feelings evoked from work and daily living." (https://artsnwct.org/resources/cultural-directory-listing?id=Warren-Prindle-1219) Warren Prindle has had one man shows in New York, San Francisco, Chicago and Milwaukee and has murals in Boston and Chicago. His art is in numerous private collections including The Salisbury School. An art teacher at Housatonic Valley Regional High School for a number of years, Prindle’s students have been accepted at many of the major art schools in the U.S.
