Trained in Graphic Arts at Penninghen (ESAG) and Beaux-Arts in Paris (ENSBA), Marilou Laure joined the Dragon Rouge creative agency and participated in the creation of large branded images. Her subsequent work as a freelance illustrator varies widely: watercolor sketches of his Paris restaurant le Balzac for chef Pierre Gagnaire, drawings of panthers for Cartier, posters for Fragonard perfumes, serigraphs for Agnès b fashions and book covers. Laure also draws live sketches during special events, for example, for Hermès customers at the annual Saut Hermès horse jumping competition. A niece of Samivel, an artist and alpinist, and mountain climber Jean Cousy, Laure is also passionate about the mountains. She regularly exhibits at the Librairie des Alpes, Paris.
