I am a studio painter interested in transcribing the color, line and form I see in the natural world. While painting, my internal dialogue can be cacophonous and emotional while I search for imagery that evokes rhythms and harmonies. It is enough for me to aim at getting it right in my quest for visual poetry. I find satisfaction in pictures that I can inhabit somehow and it is that transformation with oil paint that I both enjoy in art and dare to aspire. For me, nature is the doorway into that communication.
